Heretics is a webcomic the world has been irrevocably changed by the open use of magic. The American colonies never fully unionized, wireless technologies have been deemed impossible, and France disappeared from the map some time in the 18th century. Soldier, turned thug, turned PI, David Greeve is falsely accused of heresy for unknown reasons and is now being hunted to the death. He must cooperate with a stranger called "Jay" to find out why. His only lead being an old magic tome that his hunters also want.
